       The ones who will succeed in college and in their career's are the ones that know the number one tip that is: To know actually know why you're going to college.

         To know why you have to know what you want to do in the long-term and if that degree is actually worth it in the end. To know what you want to do. You have to indulge yourself in that interest, read about it, go to events, talk about it with mentors. For an example: chemistry. Chemistry may be something you love and enjoy doing. So look into Chemical Engineer Manager, it has a good market, a top-notch, high in demand and has many career opportunities that can stem from it.
          The trick is to prepare yourself all the way up from school years. To harness your skill during your preliminaries to not only be good at chemistry, but be able to help people, be a good leader, learn how things work. This is what schools don't want students to know, so that they take less then meaningful tests that doesn't help them in the least. And once their ready to graduate and go to college they are sadly way far behind. In the end it gives the colleges more of the student loans monies and more of their years in college. They know all too well about this statistic.
        And finally once you know for sure of that goal. It is crucial to have a college reserve by saving money, by working, starting a business, earning scholarships, and applying for grants an sometimes loans(which should be a last priority). So once you have the money, the skills and the knowledge you will already in the top 10% above your peers, going onto college and then your career. That's what college is for. The ones that are prepared academically and financially like the preps and the rich, succeed, get in and out of college in less time and less stress than other students who aren't as prepared.
